Both parents and kids love London Heritage Dental—from the moment you step into our new and modern dental office, our staff will put you at ease. Our friendly team strives to make every appointment as comfortable as possible.
Our patients are a part of our extended family. Our commitment is to provide our patients with the highest standard of care using the most modern and up-to-date technology, just like the care we would want our own families to receive. For your convenience, our office is open evenings and weekends, and free parking is available.
Dr. Lekhi DDS General Dentist
Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Dr. Veenu Lekhi received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in 1993. Since her move to Calgary 13 years ago, she has worked at Foothills Hospital for six years, providing dental care to medically compromised patients. She has also served as a consultant to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. As a hospital staff dentist, she was affiliated with both the University of Calgary’s School of Medicine and the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
Dentistry is Dr. Lekhi’s passion, and her philosophy is simple: healthy mouth, healthy body. She believes that great dental care begins and succeeds with a healthy lifestyle, and strives to help her patients make informed decisions about their oral health.
Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Lekhi appreciates the fine arts and promotes well-being for herself and her family through meditation, yoga, swimming and hiking. She plays an active part in the local community and supports the Calgary Drop in Centre and Local Food Bank. Internationally, she has orchestrated and participated in multiple dental missions to countries including Guyana, Haiti and India.
Dr. Lekhi’s passion is practicing dentistry, but her favourite part is interacting with her patients. She focuses on building long term relationships with all her patients, and pays close attention to their individual needs in order to provide them with optimal dental care.
